- Live in apartment-style dormitories on campus
The Danish Technical University (DTU), the leading center for engineering education and research in Denmark, is located in suburban Lyngby, just a short bus or commuter train ride from the magnificent city of Copenhagen. Courses are taught in Chemical, Electrical, Civil, Construction, Mechanical and Environmental Engineering, as well as Energy, Information Systems and Applied Physics. Presently 200 out of 700 courses offered at the MA level are taught in English. DTU is working to offer all Bachelors' level courses in English. Students can take exams in English or Danish and will find a wide variety of classes offered which meet KU School of Engineering requirements at the B.S. or Master's level.
DTU courses and grades will be posted as KU equivalents on your KU transcript and grades will figure into your KU GPA. The relevant KU academic department will make the final decision regarding posting of credit and grades, and their application toward graduation.
