Holly Rains is a Project Specialist in the Office of Study Abroad. She holds a B.A. in International Studies and an M.A.I.S. in International Economic Growth and Development, both from the University of Oklahoma. Holly's main responsibilities include the oversight of the Student International Travel Registry, as well as providing support to the Curriculum Integration team. She also teaches UNIV 101.
Holly started at the KU Office of Study Abroad in the Spring of 2014. As an undergraduate student, she studied foreign policy at Boğaziçi University in Istanbul, Turkey for a semester. She also worked in Central Asia for a summer before beginning graduate school. Holly has also traveled to Switzerland, Germany, France, Bulgaria, and Canada. Her graduate research focused on the growth of agriculture as a way to support international influence in Brazil.
