The University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) was founded in 1951 and is recognized as one of China's leading universities in the studies of business and finance. UIBE has a total enrollment of more than 13,000 students including more than 3,000 international students from around the world. UIBE is located in the Haidian District in the northeastern part of Beijing. The campus is conveniently located with easy access to all areas of the city and is seven miles from the city center.

Combining rich history and bustling metropolis, Beijing is one of few cities that has served as a political, diplomatic and cultural center for a nation as large as China for so long. The city is home to some of the world's most famous historical sites, like the expansive Great Wall and the splendid Forbidden City.
There are two schools at UIBE that offer business courses in English, the School of International Trade and Economics and the School of Business.
The UIBE School of International Trade and Economics is one of China's leading centers for the study and research of international trade and finance. The school offers general and international focused business courses and beginning to advanced level Chinese language courses.
The UIBE School of Business offers international MBA courses which expose students to the latest theoretical and applied knowledge about international economics, business, marketing, finance, and law, as well as the practices in China. Undergraduate business students are allowed to take to take certain general and international focused business courses and beginning to advanced level Chinese language courses.
On-campus accommodation at UIBE are competitive and limited. UIBE has three on-campus accommodations. The Student Residence Hall, Huibin House offers double-occupancy rooms and a communal kitchen and restroom on each floor. Huibin House also has a gym, laundry facility and coffee shop. UIBE offers furnished on-campus apartments at Huicai Apartment and Huide Apartment. The double occupancy apartments include a bathroom, kitchen and balcony. Students who do not receive on-campus accommodations can rent an apartment or stay at nearby budget hotels for the semester at reduced rates for long-term occupancy.
