Boroujerdi Family Study Abroad ScholarshipThe Boroujerdi Family Study Abroad Scholarship provides study abroad scholarships for in-state, undergraduate KU students who will be taking art, history, or art history courses while abroad.  Eligible study abroad locations include France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, and Spain. 
Carol Ann Adams Brown Study Abroad ScholarshipFund created with contributions from Carol Ann Adams Brown and Clifton Brown to support undergraduate KU students on academic year study abroad programs that offer cultural and language immersion. Recipients must be taking part in courses instructed in the target language (non-English) abroad..
G. Wayne Burge ScholarshipFund created through the support of G. Wayne Burge, KU alumnus and former participant in the Universidad de Costa Rica study abroad program. Awards are designed to assist KU students on semester or academic year study abroad programs in Costa Rica or more generally in a Central or South American country. 
Dr. J.A. Burzle ScholarshipFunds provided by family and friends of Dr. J.A. Burzle. Dr. Burzle taught German at KU for over 30 years and was a strong supporter of international exchange programs.
Drs. Dean T. And Elizabeth Collins Study Abroad ScholarshipFund created by an estate gift from the late Drs. Dean T. and Elisabeth Collins.  This scholarship supports KU student participants in semester or academic year programs in Germany.  All majors are eligible to apply, however a preference is given to students studying music, particularly opera.
Foreign Study ScholarshipFunds provided by the Chancellor's office in support of KU student participation in study abroad.
Dr. Robert A. Granberg Memorial Scholarship Funds provided by the Granberg family. Dr. Robert A. Granberg taught at KU for many years in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese. Scholarships are for KU students pursuing academic programs in Spain, with preference given to students in the Linguistics or Spanish Departments.
Shirley Cundiff Haines and Jordan L. Haines Study Abroad ScholarshipFund created with the support of Shirley Cundiff Haines and the late Jordan Haines to provide study abroad scholarship support to KU students studying the visual arts, literature, architecture, and other areas of the humanities. 
Larry D. and Donna Manning Horner ScholarshipFund created through the generosity of Larry D. Horner and Donna Manning Horner to support undergraduate and graduate KU students with academic merit and financial need in their participation in a study abroad program.
Jordan-Kidwell Family Study Abroad ScholarshipFund created through the generosity of the Jordan-Kidwell family in memory of Jill Jordan.  This scholarship provides financial support to KU students with financial need to enable their participation in study abroad opportunities.
Carl C. Krehbiel and L. Neil Slentz German Summer Language Institute ScholarshipFund established by Carl C. Krehbiel to provide support for degree-seeking undergraduate students attending the German Summer Language Institute program in Holzkirchen, Germany.
Lynne Hinkel Lipsey Memorial Travel FundFund created through the generosity of the Lipsey family in memory of Lynne Hinkel Lipsey.  This scholarship provides financial support to KU students pursuing cultural immersion opportunities while abroad in a German-speaking country as well as to German-speaking students participating in study abroad opportunities at KU.
Loren Malone ScholarshipFund established through the generosity of Loren Malone to support KU undergraduate students with financial need in their participation in a study abroad program.
David Lutz, PhD and Ellen Scott McLean Study Away ScholarshipFunds provided with support of Dr. David Lutz and Ellen Scott McLean to support foreign language majors at KU in their participation in study abroad. Recipients must have completed at least 60 credit hours prior to their study abroad term.
Dr. Brad K. Mazon and Thomas E. Coates Global Citizen FundFund created with support from Dr. Brad K. Mazon and Thomas Coates to enable KU students in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences with a GPA of 3.25 or better to participate in study abroad programs. Students with demonstrated financial need may be given preference.
Mark D. McBride ScholarshipFund established through the generosity of Mark D. McBride to support KU undergraduate students who are graduates of a Kansas high school, have financial need, and are majoring in German studies or Slavic language and literature/Russian, East European, and Eurasian studies (REES) and who will be studying in the region.
Gus Rau Meyer Jr. Memorial ScholarshipFund created in memory of Gus Rau Meyer Jr., who studied abroad in Newcastle, Australia, while a student at KU. 
Eric Morgenthaler Study Abroad ScholarshipFund created through the generous gift of the late Eric Morgenthaler to support students with academic merit and demonstrated financial need in achieving their study abroad goals. Preference given to Kansas residents.
Karen Hall Orr Study Abroad FundEstablished through the generous support of the late Karen Hall Orr and her family, this fund provides direct financial support for KU students studying abroad.  Preference is given to students who are studying romance languages, particularly Spanish.
David C. Oswald Study Abroad ScholarshipFunds provided with support of Mr. David Oswald. 
Christine Pederson Scholarship for Study at the ISSFund created through the generosity of Christine Pederson, KU and ISS alumna, for KU degree-seeking students to participate in the International Summer School at the University of Oslo. 
Joe Petermann Study Abroad Australia Memorial ScholarshipFund created for an out-of-state, male student in his third or fourth year of study at KU. The student must have expressed interest in other cultures and intend to study abroad for a semester in Australia.
Iris C. Pratt Study Abroad ScholarshipEstablished to honor Iris Calderhead Pratt, a graduate of KU in 1910 and a leader in the women's suffrage movement.  This need-based fund assists female KU undergraduate students to study abroad in Japan or East Asia.
Jean Hardy Robinson Travel AwardCreated through the generous contributions of Dr. Jean Hardy Robinson, this fund provides support for KU students traveling to francophone countries. 
Saricks Study Abroad ScholarshipFund created through the generous support of Chris and Joyce Saricks to provide scholarships to study abroad for KU undergraduate students within the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences who are pursuing foreign language and culture studies.
Hazel Lee Simmons Memorial Study Abroad ScholarshipFunds provided by Altrusa International, Inc. of Lawrence, Kansas, for study abroad opportunities for female KU students who graduated from a Kansas high school (preferably with Douglas County residency). 
Peter Gilles Springer Fellowship for Study in FranceFund created through the contributions of Phyllis Springer Sipahioglu to support outstanding graduate students in French, history, or political science who wish to pursue research and/or studies in France. One fellowship per year is awarded.
Undergraduate Study Abroad ScholarshipFund established with contributions from Tom and Jann Rudkin to support KU undergraduate students with financial need who are participating in a study abroad program.   
Heather J. Vrabac and Thomas Vrabac Study Abroad ScholarshipFund created with the gift of Heather J. Vrabac and Thomas Vrabac to support KU undergraduate students with financial need participating in the summer Language, Literature, and Culture in Barcelona, Spain, study abroad program.
Joan Fowler Kessler Watkins Women Study Abroad ScholarshipFund established through the contributions of the Hon. Joan Fowler Kessler to support KU students who are residents of Watkins Scholarship Hall and who have high academic merit and demonstrated financial need to study abroad in a country in which English is not the primary language.
Wicker Study Abroad ScholarshipFund created through the generosity of Allan W. Wicker and Edna Elnar-Wicker to support degree-seeking KU undergraduates with financial need or high academic merit to participate in semester-long, single country study abroad programs through SIT Study Abroad. 
Dick and Mary Linna Woods Study Abroad ScholarshipFund created to provide study abroad scholarships for students with academic merit and financial need at KU.
