Jason Foster

Jason Foster joined Study Abroad & Global Engagement in 2024. As Program Coordinator, Jason manages KU’s international internship and practicum programs for all regions of the world as well as administration of KU’s membership in the ISEP consortium. He also oversees all inbound exchange students studying at KU for the semester or full academic year. 

Jason received his BA in History at KU and a Master of Public Administration at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He has worked in higher education since 2013, primarily at UMKC in both International Admissions and Academic Advising. As an international recruiter his territory included East and Southeast Asia, and in his personal life he spent a year backpacking and volunteering throughout Europe. Having lived and traveled in 22 different countries he is excited for the opportunity to facilitate more global connections and help provide fellow Jayhawks with impactful international experiences.
