The program will include visits to historical sites, cultural institutions, government agencies and industry sectors in both countries. Students will also engage with relevant readings, readings, films, and discussions both before and during the study tour. Upon completion of the travel component, and as a requirement of the course, students will produce a research product on a topic related to Taiwan or South Korea to share at KU’s 2026 National Security Forum.
